PLANT PROPAGATION
Propagation methods: scrub division, by buds from young rhizome, seeds. Scrub can be divided in Spring or Autumn. Every part of scrub should have 2-3 growing buds and a few roots. The flower is propagated by growth buds in early Spring when shoots are 4-8 cm long. 25-30 percentages of growth buds with rhizome part from scrub could be taken. Planted in boxes or hot beds with substrate from peat and sand mixture (3:1) takes root within 45-50 days. Plants are replanted to the final growing place in Autumn. Some species do not mature seeds or seeds do not have parent plant characteristics. Seeds mature in October. Seeds are very small. About 20000 seeds per 1 gram. Seeds are sown after picking up in pots in Autumn and Spring. If seeds are sown in Autumn, they germinate in Spring.
