PLANT PROPAGATION | |
Propagation methods: seeds, vegetative propagation by filial bulbs. Seeds are sown after picking up outdoors in Autumn. Thin layer of soil is spread on. The flower begins blooming in 4-5 years.
Propagated by daughter bulbs between August and September. Bulbs are planted at 10 cm depth and 10-15 cm space between bulbs. Planted bulbs should be covered with peat or branches before winter.
The best time for planting bulbs is between June and August. Bulbs could be planted in November if Autumn is warm. Good quality bulbs are heavy in weight, without roots and stems, covered with scales, without diseases. |
