PLANT PROPAGATION | |
Propagation methods: scrub division with rhizome part and seeds, cuttings.
Seeds are sown in Autumn or Spring. 1000 - 1200 seeds per 1 gram, 1000 seedlings per 3 - 4 grams of seeds sown. Seedlings are pricked out at 5-8 cm distance. Plants are replanted next year to the final growing place. Scrub is divided during replantation.
Propagated by cuttings between May and June. Lower leaves are removed from the stem, upper ones are shortened. Stems are planted in large distances, because stems begin to root. Only substrate should be watered. Rooting percentage is low. |
