Propagation methods: seeds, rhizome and scrub division. Seeds are sown in pots before Winter or Spring. Seeds are very small. 25000 seeds per 1 gram, 1000 seedlings per 2 grams of seeds sown Seedlings are pricked out in hotbeds when 2 true leaves appear. If temperature is very low hotbeds should be covered with leaves. Seedlings grow slowly; begin blooming in 2-3 years. The flower is propagated by 58 cm long rhizome parts and rooted in hotbeds or beds. Leaf rosette with rhizome piece is rooted in hotbeds. |
