Propagation methods: seeds, rhizome parts, scrub division. Seeds are sown in boxes or cold beds in Autumn. Sprouts are replanted into box, later (in June) into beds. Young seedlings are sensitive to direct sun. Plants should be protected from frosts. The flower begins blooming in 3-4 years. Seeds are small. 6000 - 10000 seeds per 1 gram. The flower is propagated by rhizome in Spring or Autumn (August) every 5-6 years. Rhizome parts are planted in 30-40 cm distance. If there are a lot of leaves, some should be cut off.
