PLANT PROPAGATION | |
Propagation methods: seeds, scrub division. Propagated by scrub division in May. This propagation method is used rarely, because establishing of splited parts is not always successful. Seeds are sown after picking up in Autumn or in Spring. Germinating process is long (especially if seeds are stored during Winter). 500 seeds per 1 gram, 1000 seedlings per 8 grams of seeds sown. Seedlings are pricked out in 10-15 cm distance. Some species are self-sowing plants. Seedlings are pricked out to the final growing place. 260 seeds per 1 gram. 1000 seedlings per 25 grams of seeds sown. Seeds are sown between November and March. Seeds germinate within 6-8 weeks. |
