PLANT PROPAGATION | |
Propagation methods: seeds, scrub division. 300 - 450 seeds per 1 gram. 1000 seedlings per 7 grams of seeds sown. Seeds stay viable for 3-4 years. Seeds germinate within 10-14 days. Seeds are sown in seedbeds or hotbeds.
Scrub can be divided into 10-20 parts. It is not recommended to propagate the old scrubs. The flower should be replanted every 4-5 years.
Rhizome with roots is near soil surface, so before winter the soil should be mulched. The flower is propagated by cuttings in cold beds outdoors in May. Rooting percentage is 80 – 90. |
