Propagation methods: seeds, scrub division by rhizome, cuttings.
Seeds are sown in Autumn or Spring. 1000 - 1200 seeds per 1 gram, 1000 seedlings per 3 - 4 grams of seeds sown. The space between plants should be 5 - 8 cm. After a few years they are replanted to the final growing place. Propagation by scrub division is used when transplanting plant.
The flower is propagated by cuttings between May and June. Cuttings should be taken without bottom leaves, upper leaves are shortened. Cuttings are potted in soil leaving some space. Watering should be regulated. Rooting percentage is low. |
