Propagation methods: seeds, scrub division. Scrub is divided in the early Spring or between the end of August and September. Root system should be protected from damage. Seeds are big. 120 seeds per 1 gram. 1000 seedlings per 25 grams of seeds sown. Germination process of seeds is slow. The seeds are sown in Autumn or in boxes after stratification. The seeds begin germinating in 30-50 days. Non-stratified seeds begin germinating in 1-2 years. The seedlings are replanted in beds when 2 true leaves appear. The flower begins bloom in the third or fourth year. The plants are replanted in 3 - 4 years to the final growing place. The flower can grow to 7-10 years in the same. |
