PLANT PROPAGATION
Propagation methods: seeds, scrub division, cuttings. Scrubs are divided during replantation. Young herbaceous rosettes (3-4 cm shoots) are taken between June and August. Shoots are planted in hot beds or beds. Rooting percentage is 80. Young plants survive in winter; they are replanted next Spring to the final growing place. Seeds are very small. 12000 - 25000 seeds per 1 gram, 1000 seedlings per 1 gram of seed sown. Seeds germinate within 1-2 months. Next Spring small seedlings are replanted in the final growing place. Seeds are sown in pots and boxes in Spring. Seeds are spread on the surface of the soil and pressed. Seeds are watered with sprayer. Sprouts with 2-3 ‚‘ true‘ leaves are replanted into pots, later into beds. First year sprouts are protected from frosts. Seedlings begin blooming in 2-3 years.
