PLANT PROPAGATION
Propagation methods: seeds, scrub division, division. Seeds are sown in beds in Spring. 200 - 300 seeds per 1 gram, 1000 seedlings per 12 grams of seeds sown. Seeds stay viable for 3-4 years. Seeds germinate within 2-3 weeks. The flower sown in early Spring begins blooming at the same year. Self-sowing flower. The flower is propagated by stools (10-15 cm long) between May and August outdoors in beds. Rooting percentage is 80-90. Scrub is divided in Spring and Autumn (not too late, because rooting percentage is low). It is recommended to propagate by seeds and cuttings. Some hybrid cultivars don't set true of a seed.
