PLANT PROPAGATION
Propagation methods: seeds, cuttings, scrub division. The flower should be replanted every 4-5 years. Propagation by seeds and cuttings is mostly used, because the divided scrub parts grow slowly. Seeds are sown in Autumn. The seeds quickly lose their ability to germinate. 300 - 500 seeds per 1 gram, 1000 seedlings per 8 - 15 grams of seeds sown. It is researched that seeds sown in early Spring (between March and April) germinate very well, they are stratified during winter, and germinated at 30-35°C. The flower begins blooming in the second or third year after sowing. Cuttings (10-12 cm long) are taken in Spring, before the first leaves appear. They are planted in beds. Rooting percentage is 75 – 100.
