Propagation methods: seeds, vegetative propagation. Corms are planted in beds at the 3 cm depth. Corms are planted at 6-8 cm depth and 10 cm distance in flowerbeds. Corms are replanted every 5-7 years. Seeds are sown after picking up, because viability percentage of seeds declines. The flower begins blooming in the third year. Selected large corms are stored at 20-25 °C before planting. The temperature is reduced to 17°C by 1 October. The room should be well-ventilated. Corms should be disinfected before planting.
