PLANT PROPAGATION
Propagation methods: rarely by seeds, scrub division. Roots are divided with 2-3 tufts of leaves. Very long roots are shortened. If the propagating material is sufficient the old roots are discarded. Scrubs are divided in Spring, Summer and Autumn. The flower is propagated after blooming and takes root quickly. Leaves are shortened, if the flower is propagated in Summer and Autumn. 20-30 seeds per 1 gram. 1000 seedlings per 100-120 grams of seeds sown. Iris seeds have long dormant period. Before sowing seeds should be soaked in water. Seeds germinate in 75-85 days.
