Propagation methods: seeds, stools, cuttings. Seeds are sown in beds between April and May. Seeds germinate within 8-12 days. Seeds stay viable for 2-3 years. Propagated by stools between July and August. The stem should be bent to the ground. Part of it should be covered with soil, leaving the last 6 to 12 inches exposed. The tip should be bent into a vertical position and staked in place. Wounding the lower side of the branch or loosening the bark by twisting the stem may help rotting.\r\nCuttings are taken in July.
