Almost all species mature seeds. Seeds are small. 8000 -10000 seeds per 1 gram, 1000 seedlings per 1 gram of seed sown. Sedum Telephium and some subspecies of Sedum maximum do not mature seeds. Seeds are small, should be spread on the surface of the soil and pressed gently. Seeds are sown in Spring or early Autumn. Sprouts are very small. They are prick out when true leaves appear. Plants are replanted to the final growing place in the second year.
Propagated by cuttings in hotbeds or beds in Spring or Autumn. Substrate does not have an impact on rooting, but propagation time is very important for some species. Species which are high and have hollow Stem ispropagated in Spring. Green perennials with creepy stem also can be propagated in summer (better to use upper part of shoots).

[1

post-313","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
