Propagation methods: seeds, scrub division (runners), cuttings. Species with double blossom do not mature seeds. 600 - 800 seeds per 1 gram, 1000 seedlings per 8 grams of seeds sown. Seeds are sown in beds between April and May. Seeds germinate within 8-12 days. Seeds stay viable for 2-3 years. Propagation by runners is used between June and August. Stem should be bent to the ground and part of it covered with soil. The sharp bend will often induce rooting.
