Seeds are small. 8000 -10000 seeds per 1 gram, 1000 seedlings per 1 gram of seed sown. Sedum Telephium and other subspecies of Sedum maximum do not mature seeds in Lithuania. Seeds are very small, therefore, thin layer of soil is not spread, only gently pressed. Seeds are sown in Spring or in early Autumn. Seedlings are very small. Seedlings are replanted when the first true leaves appear. Flowers are replanted to the final growing place in 2 years.
Flowers are propagated by cuttings in hotbeds in Spring or Autumn. Propagation time is very important. Tall type flowers, especially those which stems became hollow are mostly propagated in Spring. Flowers that have creepy stems are propagated in Spring and Summer.
For this propagation method (in summer) top of stems are used.

[1

post-1421","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
