PLANT PROPAGATION
Propagation methods: seeds. Seeds of Tagetes patula are smaller as Tagetes erecta. 400 - 500 seeds per 1 gram. 1000 seedlings per 5 - 8 grams of seeds sown Seeds are sown in pots or boxes between March and April. Seedlings should be thined out first time, later they should be replanted in the final growing place. Seeds can be sown to the final growing place. Seedlings are thined out with 20-25 cm distance. Seeds are sown in hotbeds or beds. The optimal seeds germination temperature is 16-18°C.
